If we had a chance to give zero stars, we would’ve done that! The moment we entered to the restaurant, we really liked the ambiance but the service overall was horrible. First, they gave us italian menu and we thought maybe they don’t have an english menu, which is totally fine but while we were struggling, we asked if they had an English menu, and they brought English menu after 10 minutes! They asked if we want still or sparkling water, even though we explicitly said still they brought sparkling water. After 30 mins, we managed to give our order and started receiving our food. With the food, we asked for additional stuff such as salt, cheese etc. NOTHING came! Also we explicitly asked for a medium-well cooked meat which came rare. After certain period of time, all waiters disappeared and we started waiting. After 15 mins or so they came to take our empty dishes and we asked for dessert menu. We ordered our dessert and coffee. Dessert came and we had to wait for 15 mins for our coffee… To top it off, after all this, they made us wait for 35 mins after we asked for the check for 3 times and eventually, we went to the cashier ourselves to pay and get out of there. Overall, the food was ok but service was horrible. If I knew I would not have not traveled for almost 45 mins one-way to try...
Read moreI wasn’t staying there only ate at the restaurant.
Beautiful place, beautiful plates and adorable and smiley waiter.
In my opinion the food was kind of good but way over priced.
The ricotta and small bite of focaccia with mortadelle were very nice.
I also drank an Amazing glass of Lambrusco.
The Lasagna was overcooked and felt almost like paste, it was tasteless and in between the layers there was very little amount of ragù.
The pork chops was some parts nice and some parts very dry and it felt like there’s not a lot of meat.
The mash potatoes were incredible, maybe the best I’ve had outside of France.
Also the tiramisu one of the best I’ve had in my life.
I think the prices were way too high. I understand that you pay extra for the small details, the beautiful plates and extra meticulous food but unfortunately it wasn’t the case.
I’ve eaten in many simpler osterias and trattorias much better meals with wine, antipasti, primi, secondi, desert and caffe in the price of the lasagna.
Even thought it was super expensive I would go again, sometimes there are bad days and it feels like they know what they are doing.
Also the service was excellent, the puree and the desert were perfect and the aesthetics were super nice and left good...
