Osteria Pellegrina pizza e cucina Valdobbiadene — Restaurant in Valdobbiadene

We went to Valdobbiadene on a national holiday period when most shops and restaurants were closed. It was a great fortune to find Osteria Pellegrina open. It would be lovely if we could go back one day and try their pizzas, but I should say that the dinner dishes were delicious. Not sure how many people would get to walk around the valley when it is around 2 degrees Celsius outside with a chilling wind, but in case you do, those warm plates are what you need. Osteria Pellegrina hosted a group of 22 for me. They set up a great table in the garden with an awning and breeze, which was lovely. And they allowed people to order whatever from the menu (rather than forcing us to choose from a very limited number of dishes). Everything was delicious! And everyone left full and happy.

The prosciutto and melon, fries, and pistacchio gnocchi were particularly good!

This place is great. The staff is amazing at dealing with client's needs, even under some pressure caused by bad weather. The food is just awesome. You have to try the daily specials. We had a great beef tartare, some special spaghetti with salmon and a pizza, of course. Everything was perfect. Your kids will love playing with the two...
