Agriturismo San Francesco — Restaurant in Valeggio sul Mincio

Working as a freelance journalist, we spend all summer, every year in Italy. We love our vacation this way -visiting random places. Our new "discovery " is agriturismo and we have been to several this past 2 years. ||||So what do we think about San Francesco? ||||É fantastico. ||This man- Francesco- is an unbelivable happy, smiling and caring person- as is the other people at the farm.||The hospitality is outstanding. I like that everyone is welcomed and treated the same. It is important and alot of people in this business tend to forget this.||The rooms are great. They are comfortable, nice, clean and with calming Colors. The aircondition is the best I have ever had (really).||The food is great. We did not get to try the breakfast because we sleep until 10 in our holidays :p, but we had lunch and two dinners. Each cost 10€ for two courses including wine. Francesco himself present the days menu and also showed us the pasta of the day on a plate. Fantastico :)||||As this summer was somewhat hot for us, we did not get to walk or bicycle alot like we use too, but we had som walks (30min) to the center of valeggio. One time we could not bare to walk back and then the agriturismo came for us in car and brought us back. Several times Francesco offered to drive us, also when we checked out. This ment alot to us and I can not fully express ny gratitude. ||||This place have a hospitality that is difficult to find. I am usually a woman of many Words, but here I am at lack of them. Francesco brought us cherries and juice one day it Was to hot to spend time outside and we were "parked" at the reception. I like that they do not go by the "rules" and treat people with alot of care and respect. I like that they ask if you want another portion of food, more water, wine or dessert. We felt safe, happy and at home.||We visit Garda alot- also in the fall and spring, and will without doubt choose san Francesco everytime we go here in the future. I love you guys and your farm and I will recomend you to all my friends all over Europe!||Io amo tuo agriturismo :)...

Situato nella pittoresca località di Valeggio sul Mincio (VR), l'Agriturismo San Francesco rappresenta una vera e propria oasi di tranquillità immersa nella natura. Circondato da rigogliosi filari di vite, questo agriturismo a conduzione familiare offre un ambiente accogliente e genuino, dove l'ospitalità è di casa. Il servizio è eccellente, con uno staff attento e premuroso che fa sentire ogni cliente speciale. La pulizia del locale è impeccabile, e ogni dettaglio, seppur semplice, è curato con una precisione che denota passione e dedizione. La cucina è il fiore all'occhiello dell'Agriturismo San Francesco. Le pietanze sono tipiche della tradizione locale, ma vengono rivisitate con tocchi di modernità che esaltano i sapori in modo sorprendente. Ogni piatto è un'esperienza culinaria unica, che unisce tradizione e innovazione in un equilibrio perfetto. Il rapporto qualità-prezzo è assolutamente giusto, considerando l'elevata qualità delle materie prime e l'abilità con cui vengono preparate le portate. L'Agriturismo San Francesco è perfetto , sia per una cena romantica che per una serata in famiglia come abbiamo trascorso noi. È un luogo da visitare assolutamente per chi desidera gustare la cucina locale in un ambiente rilassante e piacevole.
