The best restaurant in the Zermatt - Cervinia - Monte Rosa ski area

We first went inside the very morning it opened and were given a guided tour by Walter, the owner. It is stunning inside and simply has to be seen, especially the wine cellar, cheese store and the toilets ! The kitchen is quite simply the best I have ever seen and it prepares some of the best food I have ever eaten too.

Whether you want a quick coffee or lunch, or even better, a long lunch, this is the place to be. One of the most beautiful locations and a sun trap with the biggest outside seating and eating areas, accommodating over a hundred people seated and possibly two hundred. The service is excellent and friendly.

No matter what the weather is doing, stop here and enjoy their offerings, you will not regret it !

Foyer des Guides is a great restaurant. We visited it first because it was 100 meters from our apartment, but we went back because of the great food, service, and wine. Everything we ate on the two nights that we visited was very good.

The restaurant is family-owned, and the service is exceptional. As it comes to wines, then they have a good selection on the wine list. However, I suggest that you ask for the special wine that they have by the glass at the moment you visit. They have a great wine cellar and pantry. We scored a glass of great wine from 1954.

In addition to dinner, we visited the restaurant during the day when we were snowboarding and skiing. The menu is a little bit different, but it contains many things from the dinner menu and some additional dishes. Day time is busy but...

I'm from Australia but was born in South Korea. This place is truly the best restaurant I’ve ever experienced in every way. The tastiest food, exceptional service, very friendly staff, fast service, and incredibly reasonable prices—or should I say, surprisingly underpriced!

I’ve already booked for tomorrow and the day after to try more dishes here.

I’d rather miss skiing than miss dining at this restaurant.

These amazing dishes even convinced me to enjoy two beautiful glasses of red wine.
