Osteria da Luca — Restaurant in Venice

Had 3 lovely days in Venice and had the pleasure of eating at some amazing restaurants, unfortunately this wasn’t one of the those amazing experiences. First of all we were sat waiting over 10 minutes before I had to bring to the waiter’s attention we’d like to order from the menu, (the restaurant wasn’t busy.) The waiter looked as if he’d rather be somewhere else. We then ordered 2 spritz, a shared fish starter followed by a main squid ink pasta and Margareta pizza. The pizza failed to arrive and at the end we were scammed 96 Euros. If you want to avoid any unpleasantness and being scammed, please avoid this restaurant like the plague!!! This restaurant/bar is not for tourists! The menu is in Italian only and a friendly man on the neighbouring table helped us to translate it. We ordered our meals and they took over 45min to prepare some pasta! My wife got very angry and complained to the staff and then a few minutes later they finally brought our meal whereby the noodles were still too hard... A nice local restaurant whose menu attracted us. My wife wanted risotto but its only served on certain days. As is most of the menu. But its a bit disappointing to find this out after youre seated. Im sure locally this known and is fine but if youre a tourist expecting the matching price perormance with your family you will be sorely disappointed and hungry. Also the servers attempt at humor...
