We were eating here on our first night, before heading to Venice the next day. To me it was also my first time in Italy ever. I was excited to order my first real Italian Pizza. The place didn’t look like much (we were seated outside in the little „cabin“) and we were the only customers. We had one Pizza with Tuna and one Quattro Stagione. I also ordered Aperol Spritz, which came (to my surprise) with an Olive. I later learned that this is common for the area. The food didn’t dissapoint. This truly was the best Pizza I ever had!!! It had a thin bottom and a crispy, juicy crust. The flavor was amazing and it was gernerously topped with fresh ingredients (e.g. no canned mushrooms, good quality ham, etc.). It was served hot and always with a smile. Great customer service, too. The cabin we were seated at, was a little thight and the interior here was more like in a fast food restaurant. It was in the middle of the pavement. We would have enjoyed the experience more, if we could have been inside the restaurant, but we would always come back here for the amazing food. We can total...
Read moreFirst of all, there were toooooo many mosquitoes and we got bitten in a few minutes in the eating area so, we asked to the owner if we could eat inside despite of the heat but they insisted us to stay in the same area. The mosquitoes were really disturbing.
Secondly, we had to wait a long time to order pizzas. The woman kept saying ‘wait’ not in a very polite way. (Okay.. I guess she was busy.)
And most importantly, one of our pizzas came out burnt. So we told the owners and the woman said “because it’s a big size.“ with the face that ‘what’s wrong with it. ‘ And later the man came out and said that it was “GOOD cooking.” I don’t know if you call this burnt food good cooking here but not in our country. It tastes burnt and is suppose to be bad for your health.
Overall, I can’t tell about the pizza because we didn’t finish. But our experience with their...
Read moreWhat an incredible place! Our hotel recommended this spot and boy were they right! The place is cozy and clean - but what's most important is the delicious food you'll find here with the fantastic service. The owners couple are the absolute best - they serve with their hearts and you can tell it is loved by the locals as the place is busy! Even then, the food is superb and consistent - we loved it so much we came back another night and were not disappointed. The lasagna was my favorite - in the entire trip to Italy I couldn't find a better bolognese. Also recommend their K2 pizza - so creative and yummy, with an order of fresh mixed seafood (its super fresh), and some Aperol Spritzs to sip on - you've got yourself a solid meal to share between a family...
