If I could give it a zero, I would.
Terrible service and policies. We went in the afternoon and there was a table of other customers. We were told they would not be able to serve us drinks, because they we're closing after the table of other customers finished. Okay, got it.
We came back at 8 in the evening, to get dessert and drinks. When we told them that we did not want dinner, and only dessert and drinks the restaurant could not accommodate. Dinner only apparently.
Both times, out of about 15 tables there was only one table occupied so it was not a matter of too busy. There may be a difference in cultures, but if you have customers willing to pay for some overpriced dessert and wine, so they can enjoy a sea view, requiring minimal incremental effort on the staffs' part, you do it. I can understand if we are taking the space from full dinner paying customers, but there was absolutely no one there.
Don't waste your time. Plenty of other places that will be happy to take your money and give you good customer service. This place is not...
Read moreBook this place in advance so you can get a table. The food and service is wonderful! Yes, it takes time to bring the food out, but the wait is not unacceptable. The food is made to order and fresh!! The appetizers we ordered were the aubergine and tuna (though they didn't have eggplant, so they made it with zucchini), and the shrimp tartare. They were both so tasty and delicate! I was surprised at the balance of flavors.
The primari dishes we ordered were the pasta with anchovies, shrimp pasta, and lentil soup. The secondi, we chose a local fish cooked in lemon sauce. Everything was perfect! You could taste the freshness of the pasta and seafoods. The anchovy pasta was absolutely divine. All flavors came through in a wonderful balance that pleases the pallets.
We ordered two desserts with coffee. All desserts are homemade and beautifully presented. We had the ice cream with pears and chocolate, and the eclair. Just divine! I strongly encourage people to try this place. It won't...
