Just had a great evening at this lovely restaurant with beautiful views of the Castle at Vigoleno. Very good quality charcuterie with top class hams also, mixed cheeses, Torta Fritta, fried Polenta and sweet & sour homemade crispy vegetables. The homemade Pasta is of very good quality and light as a feather, The Fiorentina Steak is exceptional full of flavour, tender as butter and cooked to perfection, good choice of homemade sweets, I had the Pistachio semi freddo which was delicious, we washed it all down with a good bottle of Prosecco and Local fizzy Gutturnio, finished off the meal with oak aged grappa & coffee. Abbiamo provato oggi a pranzo questo grazioso localino... intanto c'è senz'altro da dire che la cortesia è eccellente.. solo il fatto che nonostante il locale fosse pieno ci hanno "creato" uno spazio per noi è ottimo. L'ambiente è ben curato, carino e rilassante. Abbiamo iniziato con torta fritta, i due tipi di taglieri (Salame e cotto così così il resto molto buono) e polenta fritta... buonissima.. una nota negativa la mancanza del culatello..."finito.." mi ha lasciata un po così... poi abbiamo preso i primi... pisarei e fasö... Non male ma son più buoni i miei... tagliolini culatello e asparagi abbastanza buoni tortelli alla spalla cotta e tortelli d'erbetta entrambi buoni ma poco saporiti però quel poco saporiti che diventa più che delicato direi sciapo... una grattata in più di parmigiano nel ripieno non avrebbe guastato... però nel caso dei tortelli molto ben conditi... della serie affogati nel burro e asciugato con il formaggio ottimo... infine i dolci semifreddo al pistacchio... molto buono ma da non definire semi freddo visto che era ghiacciato duro duro duro ma come sapore molto buono... la cheesecake agli agrumi ottima... crema catalana buona... e infine sbrisolona con vin santo... a detta di mio padre buona e buono il vin santo. Da bere gutturnio... Non speciale ma buono e 3 bottiglie di acqua frizzante.. 2 caffè.. passiamo al conto.. 119,50 gentilissima a non averci fatto pagare i coperti per i bimbi..per quello che abbiamo mangiato direi un prezzo ragionevole, se poi si tiene presente la posizione mi aspettavo un conto più salato... unica discrepanza vin santo pagato un euro in più rispetto prezzo su menu... pazienza facciamo su e su con il coperto dei bambini... tirando le somme... locale senz'altro che rivisiteremo.. devo provare i...

What an unexpected find in a small out of the way location. You should make the trip just for this restaurant. We don’t speak much Italian and the server didn’t speak English, but it didn’t matter.
