Awful! Worst experience in Europe. Went Friday evening, arrived to a hostile few security members who did not make us feel welcome at all. Lovely lady at reception but ALL downhill from there.

Place was empty, no staff around to take drink orders. Walked to the bar and to redeem the 2 entry drinks you must present the receipts which I left on the table. Bar staff were not very interested in helping or caring about us despite us being 2 of 5 customers at the bar.

Absolutely no taxis available to get you back home or to your hotel. The lovely lady at reception gave us a local taxi company number to call. Took 40 minutes to get 1 taxi to collect us! In the meanwhile we considered walking to a nearby bus stop. When asking the security for directions and help with this or booking a taxi they shrugged it off like its not their problem and they did not care. Left a really bad taste for our first night in Verona.

Sono andato al Piper per la prima volta il primo giugno 2018 (ingaggiato per il remember VR 2000 dal mio caro amico ex titolare del “2”). Sinceramente, in tale occasione, non ero convinto del ristorante, tuttavia, essendo ospite, non ho rifiutato la cena offerta, prima di iniziare a fare “musica” e mi sono veramente ricreduto. Tutt’oggi, ogni tanto, da tale data, vado mangiarmi una OTTIMA “tagliatona”; l’ultima volta è stato a fine settembre con amici, ed ‘eravamo tutti pienamente soddisfatti (mogli comprese) dell’ottimo cibo, dell’ottimo servizio (Cameriere PERFETTO) e dell’ottima musica di ascolto…..nel mio caso personale incommensurabilmente soddisfatto del tortino al “cicolato” (cioccolato, per chi non è veneto) (Malformazione professionale – il Light boy e fotografo del primo giugno 2018 furono di una professionalità assoluta, complimenti all’addetto al personale). Faccio questa recensione positiva, anche se tardiva, solo dopo aver letto alcuni dei più assurdi e improbabili commenti negativi che abbia mai letto riguardo a tale morfologia di “ambiente”, solitamente, nei commenti negativi di alcuni ristoranti, una sorta di verità la si riscontra sempre.... in questo caso NO, e li ho trovati assolutamente inappropriati e ingiustificati. C’è chi si lamenta per la musica alta (che sia forse meglio informarsi prima, in che ambiente ci si recando?) Chi si lamenta dei camerieri ( cosa che odio…il lavoro del cameriere è un lavoro multo duro….provare per credere). L’assurdo è un commento negativo di una ragazza che si lamenta perché all’ingresso e stata accolta in modo “chic” …..probabilmente da un personale attento a far sì che l’ospite si sentisse a suo agio …si …no…ma??????. TUTTAVIA I “MIGLIORI” SONO QUELLI CHE SI LAMENTANO DELLE MISURE ANTI COVID…. E lasciano il commento negativo perché non soddisfatti (a settembre, quando sono andato l’ultima volta, le misure adottate al Piper erano migliori rispetto a quelle di Malpensa-aeroporto….mancava solo l’infermiere che ti infilasse su per il ….naso il tampone per il test veloce)…consiglio a tali persone: se siete così terrorizzati del covid rinchiudetevi e incatenatevi nella vostra caverna Platoniana, seguite l’ormai Dogma anti-covid, fate una non-vita e attendete la fine dei vostri giorni con rassegnata tranquillità. Mi ha telefonato, giusto oggi pomeriggio, un dipendente di una grossa società multi nazionale, che seguo, richiedendomi di attivargli una VPN perché doveva collegarsi qui a Verona da SOCCOLMA. (NOTE: hanno gli stessi morti e contagiati da Covid come noi in Italia…….Stoccolma è tra le città più densamente popolate d’Europa) IERI SERA VENERDI’ 13 NOVEMBRE 2020 E’ ANDATO IN DISCOTECA!!!!!!!! ED’ ERA PIENA DI GENTE …CHE SI DIVERTIVA E VIVEVAAAAA!!!!!!!!……….. Piper CONSIGLIATISSIMO le 5 stelle, sono...

Bad experience.

It was quite crowded but if you have the seats available you must be able to respond to the demand.

First of all the online menu is 0 friendly. It takes forever to navigate and find the best solution for dinner.

Second, the staff is quite friendly but or they are short on staff or they just come in the beginning. After that it takes forever for one to come to the table.

Third, more than one hour for dishes to come to the table. It’s not admissible, not if you charge as much as you charge on this restaurant.

Overall the only thing here to sell is the view. For sure if someone comes to Verona this place will not be in either my guide and also on the other 20 people in my table.
