Cantina Giovanni Ederle — Attraction in Verona

We have done several wine tastings in the past year and this was the best we have been on. It was a perfect mix of educational, informative and fantastic wine to taste. The wine tasting takes c. 2 hours all things told by the time you finish your wines and you get to enjoy the fantastic views and gardens. We stayed for a couple of glasses after as the prices were so reasonable and spectacular views to enjoy. A perfect afternoon was spent getting the best panorama view of Verona and the surrounding area, walking through the vineyards, seeing the winery, learning about the special wines produced here, and of course, tasting the good range of wines they offer. The garden was beautiful, their wines were lovely, and Andrea was the perfect host. A tour and 9 wines for 25 euros was a bargain, and it's not a long way from the city either. Nice wine tasting but lackning guidance. No info about the vineyard it self, it's history or how to match the wine with food.
