Autogrill Magra Ovest — Restaurant in Vezzano Ligure

Autogrill is a very useful place along the highway in Italy. It is a very good place to come and buy coffee, which best is from Chef Express - and maybe take a shower, which is free - all you have to do is leave an id while you shower. It is open 24/7 of course. On some of the autogrills, most of them actually, you can also find dump stations for the caravan and also fresh water. It is very convenient for the campers to stop on the highway at autogrill. Some of them have big parking lots with trees around, where you can easily walk your dogs. Italy in general is very dog friendly and this is a plus. While sometimes is hard to find English speaking Italians, in autogrills usually they know English or at least is easy to get along with them. I didn't try the food, but in some stations the food looks awesome. I wanted to try the pastas, but didn't have the mood...

Every time I am going around I stopped here for a perfect cup of coffee which you can find in Italy only people are really nice and friendly you can buy whatever you need plus some souvenirs for you and your family and friends place is really nice and clean they take care of everything only problem is showers are not working all the time so if you are a trucker always ask before trying to take a shower and if it is working many times water is cold parking is big and nice and clean for trucks as well you can park here overnight without...

On the way heading south we stopped here for a coffee and a small bite.

Clean shop/restaurant and bathrooms as well. Staff was very friendly and the coffee good. Had some chocolate croissant and hot chocolate as well. Both tasty.

It's one of the smaller Autogrills around. So it's not the best place to stock up on some special offers like wine, oil and salumi. But it's more than good enough for a drink and...
