Ma Che Bontà - Seiano — Restaurant in Vico Equense

We went here as it had good reviews, however we were disappointed. Although edible it was the worst and least value for money meal we have had in Italy. The linguine with shrimps, mussels and clams was flavourless, not in a sauce, contained 2 prawns, 6 clams and 6 mussels. My husband had the mixed meat grill. This consisted of 1 sausage, 1 tiny piece of steak, 1 thin pork chop and a chicken leg which was bare of meat and looked like someone had already eaten most of it. His side order of fries were oven chips. The view was lovely however as the sun lowered and the blue light strip which encircled the inside of the restaurant came on, all you could see when trying to appreciate the view was the blue line in the window.. Plastic table cloths, cheap napkins and no locals eating there says a lot about the quality...

I went for dinner on my second night in Seiano and I was very impressed. The staff were very friendly, spoke English, were attentive and kind. I ordered what I thought was an ordinary salad but it was spectacularly better than I imagined! I've attached a picture so you can see. I then ordered a medium pizza and was stuffed beyond imagination. They have a great range, comes in small, medium and large, probably better to get the small, ha. Food was delicious and I was incredibly satisfied. They didn't have the dessert I wanted (Tiramisu) by the alternatives looked great, I.e. chocolate volcano with some imaginative sweet 'lava'. I also ordered a small bottle of the house red wine, went very well with my meal. They had a list of sea food on offer and vegetation options. I'd recommend this...

So the place has a pretty nice view, the food was good, but it took so long for it to arrive were talking like an hour wait, then the food all came separatly so our table didnt eat at the same time at all. The server wasnt so understanding of the error of the restaurant, we ordered fettucine with lobster, the plate arrived and there was NO lobster, wich was very dissapointing, the server googled what it was in the plate wich is something from the sea but again NO lobster, and the waiter just said "welllll.... thats lobster to me" well if its not lobster dont put it in the menu. We ended up having to still pay the plate wich was super different from the description in the menu cause "thats lobster to him". Other then that and the extensive wait for the food, the pasta and pizza...
