During my trip in Italy I was hoping to find a local restaurant that all the locals in the area would go for dinner and this is the place. Giuseppe is a fantastic waiter who will go out of his way to make you happy (speaks English). The place is busy so he will be running around a lot but we had a great time talking with him and having him as our waiter / host.

The food is very good and they are willing to adjust to your preferences. We ate here 3 times and it only got better each time we visited. The seafood is very good but the pizza is a real highlight. As we discovered it is sold by the metre but Giuseppe will adjust the size to suit your order. They also sell personal sized (individual sized) pizza. Our first one we ordered was 0.8 metres as we wanted 2 large slices for 4 people - it was so good we should have just ordered the full metre. If something is not on the menu simply ask Giuseppe and if can he will accommodate your order. Our pizza order (Diavola) wasn't on the list but he said they make it and then we added some hot peppers to add move flavour / heat. We also found the pricing to be very reasonable.

Keep in mind it is a local restaurant - so if your looking for a high end fancy seating this isn't the place - BUT if you want a restaurant with great atmosphere with good food this is the place. If you are walking (as we did) to the restaurant use the road that crosses in front of the church. Sono ormai diversi anni che la mia famiglia e io trascorriamo le nostre estati nella suggestiva Penisola Sorrentina, e ogni anno cerchiamo nuove gemme culinarie che rendano la nostra esperienza ancora più memorabile. Quest'anno, abbiamo avuto il piacere di scoprire un autentico gioiello gastronomico che ha superato ogni nostra aspettativa: il ristorante Degli Amici!

Già dall'ingresso, siamo stati accolti con un sorriso caloroso e una gentilezza che ha subito fatto sentire la nostra famiglia come parte della loro. L'atmosfera familiare del ristorante ha creato un ambiente accogliente e rilassato, trasformando la cena in un'esperienza non solo culinaria ma anche umana.

Il rapporto qualità-prezzo è davvero straordinario. La varietà nel menu è affascinante, e ciò che mi ha colpito è la capacità del ristorante di offrire pietanze di alta qualità senza inflazionare i prezzi. Ogni piatto era una sinfonia di sapori freschi e autentici, riflettendo la ricchezza della tradizione culinaria locale.

Parlando di freschezza, non posso che elogiare la qualità degli ingredienti utilizzati. Ogni boccone era un viaggio attraverso i sapori della Penisola Sorrentina, con ingredienti locali che erano evidentemente appena raccolti o pescati. La scelta accurata degli ingredienti ha conferito ai piatti una nota di eccellenza che ha reso la nostra cena indimenticabile.

Il personale merita un plauso speciale. La loro attenzione e gentilezza hanno contribuito a creare un'esperienza che va oltre il semplice pasto fuori casa. Erano disponibili per consigliarci sui piatti e fornire dettagli sulla loro preparazione, dimostrando un autentico amore per la cucina che si traduceva nella presentazione impeccabile e nei sapori avvincenti delle pietanze.

In conclusione, il ristorante è diventato il nostro rifugio culinario nella Penisola Sorrentina. Ogni visita è un tuffo nel cuore della tradizione gastronomica locale, arricchito da un'atmosfera familiare che ci fa sentire a casa lontano da casa. Consiglio vivamente questo luogo a chiunque desideri vivere un'esperienza culinaria straordinaria con un rapporto qualità-prezzo eccezionale. Non vedo l'ora di tornare l'estate prossima e gustare nuovamente le prelibatezze di questo autentico paradiso gastronomico.
