Ristorante La Fattoria — Restaurant in Vietri sul Mare

I would give this restaurant more than 5 stars if I could. It’s one of those places where you immediately feel like family.

We were in Vietri for 8 nights and we ate at La Fattoria 3 of the nights!!!

The food is delicious. Home cooked and fresh. They always served extra appetizers on the house. We got pasta every night because it’s just so good. The seafood seemed to be their speciality (everyone was ordering the seafood pasta dishes).

The house wine is phenomenal. And so affordable!! For three of us with a bottle of wine and way too much food, the bill was never more than €50.

Don’t skip the dessert. From fresh fruit to homemade tiramisu, you won’t be disappointed. And the limoncello is the best you will find. It’s homemade and perfection. We bought a bottle to take with us.

Oh and the view. It’s gorgeous. Something that you can just stare out at for an entire evening. Even if you have to drive out of the way for this restaurant, do it! You will...

We had the best experience here!! We dined for 3 hours and had a great time. The restaurant atmosphere was laid back, the waiter and manager were very good with food suggestions and gave us so many memorable laughs. So friendly and generous. They speak some english but not everything they understand so if you don't speak Italian you can use a translator app or google translate, many english speaking guests were doing so and the waiters were patient in waiting to understand from what I saw. The service was so delightful and refreshing. The food was scrumptious as I'm craving more of their sea bream as I write this review. The manager kept checking on us and making sure we were comfortable and that we enjoyed everything dish. Our waiter deboned and deskinned my fish dish, the servings and proportions are very generous and the limoncello is top tier. The seafood of course is very fresh and flavorful. La Fattoria was the best restaurant I tried out during a 10 day vacation at the Costiera Amalfitana. It is beautifully situated at the hilltop of Dragonea, above Vietri sul Mare, with a large terrace that offers a fantastic view of the surrounding landscape.

The staff is very friendly and helpful, and the cuisine is just outstanding. Each dish, wether pasta, fish, meat, or dessert, was an eye-opener. The vegetables are grown in an adjacent orchard!
