Trattoria Nonno Liborio — Restaurant in Villa Celiera

We made a special trip here for lunch because a lady at a winery in Penne suggested we come to this particular village if we like lamb. No menu, which is fine, we like this sort of thing. The lady who I pressume is the owner suggested antipasti and grilled lamb for 2. Sounded like a great idea, along with a 1/2 litre of local wine and a bottle of water. The flavour of the grilled lamb was very nice. The total bill was €54. Is this expensive? I thought so, but...

Best arrosticini I've had for quite some time. Watered with a very good house wine and finished off with a genziana digestif. Excellent staff and prompt service. A very warm and inviting space. If you go there in the daylight hours, have a stroll through the town and enjoy the magnificent country views that stretch uninterrupted as far as the Adriatic coastline that meets...

Siamo stati a pranzo in questo locale un po' piccolo ma caratteristico... Devo dire che si la cucina è casereccia.... Ma direi anche troppo dato che con lo stesso condimento ci hanno portato ...penne al pomodoro per il piccolo... Pallotte cacio e ove come antipasto ravioli di ricotta come primo e la pasta molinara come altro primo tutti conditi con lo stessa salsa al pomodoro! Considerando che erano gli unici due primi da poter scegliere mi sembra un tantino limitato...nell'antipasto ci aspettavamo qualcosa di più gustoso e caratteristico mentre era composto da cose troppo povere per un antipasto ( a parte le 6 fettine di crudo) come ad esempio i broccoli lessati e con un pezzettino di mozzarella sciolta sopra .. Inoltre altra nota negativa doverosa da dove fare notare e che(molto probabilmente in mancanza di un impianto di areazione adeguato) siamo usciti da lì con un odore di cucinato addosso davvero fastidioso! Il secondo non è stato male.... Agnello alla brace classico ... Anche il prezzo tutto...
