We came to this restaurant as tourists looking for food around the area as we were staying overnight at a nearby hotel.
When we entered the restaurant, we felt instantly unwelcomed by the staff just by the way they looked at us. I approached a man kneading dough at the counter and politely asked if he spoke English (in Italian). He answered "No," with an unfriendly smirk and added, "parli Italiano?" to which I replied no. The man then said something afterwards which my sister (who knows slightly better Italian than me) translated as "We are in Italy." when I looked over to her as I had no idea what was being said to me.
We walked out of the restaurant and did not look back.
I understand that we were in Italy, but we felt that the staff was just rude and obviously did not want us there. Perhaps they should put a sign outside saying...

It's July 6th, 2022 and I'm currently at this restaurant for lunch. I've been living in Italy for 9 yrs so I feel I know good pizza. Today I'm having the 'Estate'. Wow! This pizza is delicious! The lady hostess has been super friendly. Also the price is great! 10 euros (disregard the price in the photo I published, she said it's not correct) for an entire pizza and wine. Perfekte echte italienische Pizza, hauchdünner, knuspriger Boden und nicht zu viel Belag! Kann super mit den Händen gegessen werden… 😉 Gerne scharf bestellen, kommen keine Flocken drauf, sondern schönes Öl mit eingelegten Peperoni, einfach nur super! Keine Blechpizza, alles Freihand. Auf der Karte stehen sämtliche Inhaltsstoffe des Pizzateig. Der Weißwein ist schön fruchtig und spritzig, der Wirt ist ein echtes Original! (Kein Englisch oder Deutsch, aber man versteht sich… 😎 Ambiente ist ganz einfach und simpel, kein Fine dining! Kleine Terrasse auf dem Dach, man hat Schatten und kann in Ruhe essen. Dessert muss ich noch probieren, hausgemachter Kuchen, mal sehen was Sie haben… Ach so, Preise sind der Hammer, wenn Du aus Verona kommst, echt der Schnapper, meine Pizza war unter 10 Euro!
