Mi Yard (Desmond)

The accommodations are basic but I love staying at Miyard. Proprietor Delroy Johnson is a perfect host. My favorite room is the upstairs room closest to the sea, with a glimpse of the water, and overlooking the garden. Even though there is no air conditioning, the room stays cool with its high ceiling and ceiling fan. There's a small sand beach right across the road, perfect for swimming. Early in the morning, you can watch from the porch as the fishermen return with the catch at the beach. ||||The restaurant stays open 24/7 and serves great local cuisine, great when late night hunger strikes. Mi yard a place with a well deserved name as its doors are never closed ever a place to hang out meet ppl meet up with friends drink eat party till day light then go accross the Rd have a swim on the beach yes their is a beach across from mi yard ..you'll feel at home at mi yard you get your choice of music fried fish slices plus festival ,fried breadfruit , bammy ,plantain , fried saltfist fish or egg sandwiches tea of your choice .. menu still includes cooked meals done to order so if ever you are in negril and don't feel like sleeping after the after party mi yard...
