The accommodations are basic but I love staying at Miyard. Proprietor Delroy Johnson is a perfect host. My favorite room is the upstairs room closest to the sea, with a glimpse of the water, and overlooking the garden. Even though there is no air conditioning, the room stays cool with its high ceiling and ceiling fan. There's a small sand beach right across the road, perfect for swimming. Early in the morning, you can watch from the porch as the fishermen return with the catch at the beach. ||||The restaurant stays open 24/7 and serves great local cuisine, great when late night hunger strikes. There's also a lively bar scene popular with tourists and locals. ||||Its location on One Love Drive is between the Cliffs and the Seven Mile beach, an easy walk to either or stores...
