Imagine trying to visit this place several times for all of them to fall through. Finally you're able to arrive early (around 5:45 pm) for a 6pm reservation and still not being served until after 8pm! To recap, we were told our table was not yet ready as we were early for our reservation. I believe the individual's name was Ernest, he gave us a tour of the grounds around 6pm which lasted about 15 minutes. When we arrived back at the restaurant, we were told.our table was still not ready. We waited an additional 10 minutes then were seated in the middle of the outside area. This was fine with us as we were actually celebrating getting married earlier that afternoon. Once seated, we ordered our drinks and food including a bottle of wine. Our drinks and appetizer came out.... then about 30 minutes later the soup came out. Maybe another 30-45 minutes my son's food arrived (kids meal). We assumed our food would come as well, we were totally wrong! After about 20 minutes, we started asking for our meals. Our waitress had not returned so we were asking other waitresses about our meals. Once we became frustrated with the lack of response or the it's coming out soon response, we asked for the bill to pay for what we had already consumed. At this point it's well after 7:00 p.m. going on 8:00 pm. My new mother-in-law became greatly frustrated with the star and continuously asked for the bill so that we can pay and leave. Additionally we had asked if there would be some type of compensation for the amount of time that we have waited to be served as all the other tables around us at this point had received their meals and were almost finished. After waiting what seems like another 20 to 30 minutes, our food comes out lukewarm or barely warm. I asked our waitress for the bill and my new husband got up and asked about the discount. To our displeasure we received a 10% discount off of a $275+ bill. Bringing our total to $275 with taxes and fees. I briefly reviewed then receipt and we paid our bill after voicing our displeasure in the service as well as the food. Our waitress was extremely rude and caught an attitude for me saying I was dissatisfied and that I would not return nor recommend other individuals to visit this restaurant. Don't get me wrong the view is absolutely gorgeous however the service...
Read morePros: Ambiance is top tier. The location is very nice and the atmosphere is great. I would recommend dining outside as it is more beautiful. It was raining so we had to dine inside. The food was good too so I think the chefs did a great job so kudos to them.
Cons: Customer Service. Very Poor. Omg. The server was so rude. Her approach, the service, EVERYTHING!!! I didn’t get her name because she never introduced herself. But since the moment she begun taking our orders I wanted to leave, that’s how bad her attitude and service was. Anyways, we ended up staying. When it was time to pay our bill I was double checking the cash to make sure it was correct so my cousin said “ if you should get back change she will bring it back”. At that time the server approached our table and said “if you fi get back change me nuh must bring back yuh change”. Ok then. Rude much. Anyways, she gave us some of the change and said she was going for the rest but we just left. We were about ready to get out of there. Everyone’s experience is different and maybe it was just because we were locals. And not all the workers there have poor customer service and maybe she is not always that rude, maybe she was having a bad day but that was just our experience. Honestly, I would never recommend this place to anyone, but if someone decides that they are going there I will not discourage them and tell them not to but I will not be the one...
Read moreYou have to start with really good people, and they have hired the best! Then you train them well. This team had been prepared to be top-class service on any cruise line, resort etc at an international level! Natasha was our server and she timed her attentiveness perfectly. Always smiling and gracious. When we complimented the chef on his preparation of Escovitch Snapper, she summoned Dison to our table. He visited with us for a few minutes and was very engaging as we spoke about how he made various dishes. Then the new manager Tyrone asked how the team was doing and engaged very well. As we were leaving we got a quick chat with Everett, who made us laugh! I wrote down all the names since I was so impressed by each and every team member! Now let me talk about the meal. The Escovich fish is now the best we have had in Negril ( and we have been there a LOT) The Caesar salad was superbly fresh, and we loved their house-made dressing. Bottom line- best restaurant we have been to in...
