We made our reservation over the phone, and Danielle was incredibly helpful. When we mentioned we were celebrating our anniversary, she warmly recommended the point table — and we’re so glad she did.
From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warmth and love by everyone we met. All the staff on the premises were exceptionally professional — from the gentleman who helped us park the car to the welcoming team at the entrance of the restaurant. Every interaction made us feel genuinely cared for.
As we were led to our table, we were both completely taken aback by the breathtaking view: the golden sun setting over the sea, casting a magical glow across the clifftop. Our table sat right at the edge, overlooking the bluest waters and the gentle rhythm of the waves below — it felt like something out of a dream. Dermaine, our waiter, made the evening even more special. His service was outstanding — warm, professional, and thoughtful. He guided us through the menu and even took some beautiful photos of us that we’ll treasure.
The food was absolutely delicious — we even asked for seconds of the pepper pot soup (it was that good!). The cocktails were fantastic, and I especially loved the refreshing pineapple and ginger local juice. It was a truly unforgettable evening. We’ll definitely be going back.
I forgot to add we were given a complimentary slice of cake with the words...
Read moreWe had dinner at Rock House Restaurant tonight and it was fabulous! The moment you walk in you can tell it has a great atmosphere. It is absolutely breathtaking! It’s beautiful during the day looking at the ocean, but just as gorgeous at night. I love how they have the water lit up so you can see ocean at night. I also love the tiki torches at night. If you can get a table near the ocean even better, but honestly, any table would be great. We had a few minutes to wait for our table so we played connect four. Looking at the menu I didn’t know how I would like the food. Only because I’m not a very adventurous eater. But honestly, everything we had was awesome! We tried a few traditional foods that we had not had before. We had the Ackee Dip with plantain chips, and the Oxtail Patties. They also brought us a shot glass sample of the Callaloo Pepper Pot Soup (I think that is what is was) and it was fabulous. It was green but it reminded me of a jerk seasoned lentil soup, but puréed. We also had the crab quesadilla, fish tacos and jerk chicken. Everything was excellent! Note that there isn’t a lot of crab on the quesadilla. I had a cappuccino which was fabulous! Roman was our server and he did a great job. We...
Read moreWe enjoyed a fabulous evening at Rock House Restaurant.
The service was AMAZING.
The view was 51/10!
The food was stellar!!
We started with the delicous vegetarian pepperpot soup with hot fresh rolls. (Almost like a coco bread).
The wine selection is fabulous!
Our appetizer was ackee dip with plantain. The dip is not hot - but had an interesting texture & was quite flavorful. The plantain chips were fabulous. Very crunchy & a very appealing arrangement.
One member of our party ordered the whole fried snapper - esvovitch. It was well presented & served with veggies and rice & peas. The “scotch bonnet” was clearly tempered to the visitors - but it still had good flavor & pickled properly.
The tenderloin was massive & cooked perfectly medium rare. The chimichuri sauce was fresh & delicous. The accompanying veggies were again - lovely.
The rice & peas was served on the side and the perfect portion.
Sadly - there was no space for desert.
The ambience & location of this restaurant makes it an absolute must when visiting Negril!!
(I’d highly recommend a reservation & request...
