The nice couple gave us such a very warm welcome. We talked a lot (we used Google translate) to talk in English and Japanese. The food was soooo good. Best food in Japan we had on our travel! Very warm and welcoming atmosphere. The couple that run the restaurant don’t speak any English and there is no English menu but we had lovely conversation with what basic Japanese we knew and google translate was more than sufficient to help with the menu. The hostess was very friendly and even waved us goodbye as we left.
The unagi (eel) is super fresh and caught from the tank inside the lobby. Food was delicious and we were provided snacks whilst we waited for the meal. The garlic chicken was also really tasty and the miso was some of the best I’ve had.
