YUKASHI Alpine Bistro — Restaurant in Akaigawa

I recently dined at Yukashi, and I must commend their excellent service. However, I was disappointed with the quality of the food. The pasta I ordered was a little salty and not well seasoned, with very few crab pieces. Despite the attentive service, the high price of around 4500 yen did not match the taste and quality of the dish. I hope the restaurant can work on balancing the flavors and seasoning of their dishes in the future.

Very rarely do you ever visit a place where the food matches the price paid. No this isn’t the cheapest place but we just dined here and for the very first time the food exceeded all expectations.

The food, the music, the sport video playing were all superb.

Highly recommend the lamb shank which is imported from New Zealand. It’s the most succulent tender meat you will ever have. Not to mention how creamy and buttery the mashed potatoes are..

The owner cares about this place you can tell. Plus he’s carefully chosen some amazing staff who know what they are doing.

The service was so bad. It was Saturday, and we had a reservation. We arrived on time but had to wait for 10 minutes before being seated. When we finally got our seats, the table was not prepared. They let us order first and then prepared the table setting in front of us. They forgot to serve water until I asked for some. The waiting time was very long. They sent our dishes to another table, where they stayed for about 2 minutes. After realizing the mistake, they sent the dishes back to the kitchen and then served the same dishes to us again. Even though they have a smile and I don't know what happened to the staff and the service....
