Had this after we went to the Takeda castle ruins, the owner took the effort to go all the way up to the ruins’ exit area to promote their shop so we decided to give it a try! A quaint and homely place, can fit about 4 tables of 6 and 3 tables of 4.

Food is pretty decent, tried the Set B beef and ordered ala carte pork and ochasuke. Totalled up to 22000yen for 6 pax, pretty worth it as the meat taste...

産地偽装ニュース 「サギ肉屋」

｢兵庫県朝来市の焼き肉店が、他県産の安い牛肉を兵庫県産のブランド牛「但馬牛」と偽って提供していたとして、県と農林水産省は再発防止の徹底などを求める措置命令を行いました。

措置命令を受けたのは、朝来市和田山町の焼き肉店「竹田屋」です。

県によりますと、店では昨年（令和４年）7月までのおよそ2年半にわたって、観光客向けのパンフレットやホームページなどで、兵庫県産の「但馬牛」を提供しているかのように表示していましたが、実際には但馬牛を仕入れておらず、すべて他県産の安い牛肉を提供していたことが確認されたということです。

店では九州や東北など全国各地から、但馬牛よりも安価な肉を仕入れていて、その量は少なくともおよそ４０００キロにのぼるということです。 県と農林水産省は消費者を誤認させる、不当な表示を禁じた景品表示法に違反するとして、２１日、焼き肉店に対し再発防止策の徹底などを命じる措置命令を行いました。
