What a find! My husband and I had the best sashimi and sushi prepared by a master chef, and assisted and served by his very able partner. Everything was so fresh and well presented. Our meal started off with a cold, clear noodle soup to cleanse our palates. We had the sashimi sampler, torotaku, and eight piece nigiri with additional Hokkaido uni and clam. This is a wonderful place!! I don't speak Japanese but the chef and I had a very good chat with Google Translate. Clearly a hugely local place, with immensely affordable but premium (ie Uni, Otoro, crab) food. It's a counter concept, the chef plates it in front of you.
