Lovely man who owns the shop and was very welcoming. We had an unplanned stopover to look for food while on our way to Yufuin and saw this place selling hamburgers, and so we popped in.
The interior is warm and cosy and has some personal memorabilia on display - pictures of motorcycle choppers and a Pontiac car.
The burgers were nice and healthy-tasting, with a good amount of tomatoes/lettuce. We ordered three burgers - akaushi burger, akaushi cheeseburger, and the yuzu gorin burger. The burger patties were cooked just right. The fries are quite regular in taste, nothing special, but I feel it would be good if it could be a little thicker with a nice fluffy, soft potato centre.
We were very appreciative to the owner for letting us try the candied apple (¥600) and it was our first time trying, and it was lovely! Gives us a wonderful chance to enjoy the apple slice...
