cafe＆restaurant izana — Restaurant in Awaji

This cafe, located in front to Izanagi Shrine, feature a very old fashioned food and drink menu but in a natural elegant atmosphere.

Some convenient parking spaces are available.

Personally I think nowdays is no more possible to not having anything for people with dietary restrictions. I do not say to have a full vegan menu or just vegan options but this shop do not even have a simple soy milk available.

Their menu only include the classic of Japanese cafe menu items you can find everywhere. No originality, no fantasy.

They do not indicate allergen on their menu, forcing people to ask about each item and wasting waiter and customer time.

They have espresso based items on their menu but they do not sell espresso.

Moreover their blend coffee cup is very small. Probably half a size of the cup of a classic starbucks small size but at greater price.

To make things worse, every time a customer enter or exit the main door a speaker emits an annoying alarm sound making difficult to relax or concentrate on a book.

Staff was nice and polite.

オープン当日に行きました♪ 伊弉諾神宮へ御礼参りに行った時に偶然見つけて入店。 30代70代2歳の女子会（笑）　お店の雰囲気は落ち着きつつも、小さな子ども連れも入りやすいアットホームさも😊 テーブル席はどの席もソファ席があり、奥には座敷の個室、カウンターもあり。

メイン◾️キッズプレートもありウキウキで入店。　結局キッズプレートは注文せず、ボロネーゼとピッツァを2歳とシェア。味付けが濃くなく、お肉の味がするー！　麺ももちもちで2歳でも味は問題なくパクパク食べてました！ カレーはほんのりスパイスが効いて、甘口派の私も美味しくペロリ😆　卵が絶妙に合います！ ドリンク◾️どれもこだわり、地場産のものがいただけます。みかんジュースもいちごミルクもレモネードも手作りの味😭　安心して飲めて美味しかった〜！　これを飲むのに入るだけでも良いです♪...

I eat burgers ALL the time and this was the best one I've ever had in Japan. It beats a lot of American burgers too. Staff was amazing and decor/atmosphere was so relaxing. Do not eat the shimauma burger...
