Zhao — Restaurant in Chiba

Food is good quality and good value and the atmosphere is a converted house which is bright and interesting. But service is a mess. Every time I come there are problems with incorrect orders. Waiters never bring drinks. Everything is so slow despite so many waiters.

It was an incredible ordeal just to order some takeaway pizzas. First they come back five minutes later to check the order. Then they come back ten minutes later to check the size. Then they come back ten minutes later to say they can’t make large size, only regular size, which makes no sense. Then they come back ten minutes later to say it will take two hours to cook.

I got the impression they don’t want to do take out. If so, fine, say that on your menu. Don’t waste my time. I had to beg for a glass of water and the iced tea I ordered despite the restaurant having four staff and only nine customers. I will not come again. It’s a shame because the food is delicious and good value. Other restaurants have comparable quality but also...

前菜、焼き物、ピザ、パスタ、どれも絶品です。 当たり前ですがガスオーブンで焼いたピザとは別物です。 価格はお高めではありますが、たまの贅沢に来たくなるお店です。

但し、良くも悪くも個人経営だなぁという雑さがあり、 清掃も行き届いていない感は否めません。

自分の家族とジジババで行くので人数が多くなるのですが、 日本人形がある和室の個室に通される事が多いですが、 そこが埋まっていると、キッチン側のある店内になり、かなり狭めで後ろの人の椅子とギリギリです。

テラスもあり、ガラス？張りで雨の日でも問題ありませんが、真夏や真冬はしんどそうな感じがします。 （すぐそばの総武線で快速等が通るとうるさい。）

何よりテラスは砂埃があって、潔癖な人にはムムっとします。

店員のバイトの方々は愛想も余りありません。 そらファミレスのホール作業もロボットに置き換わるよな、 って思います。

勿論季節のメニューや仕入れの関係で売り切れや、 その日は提供していないメニューはあるのでしょうが、 店員はよく把握していないし、メニューにもその旨が書かれていない。 そらファミレスの注文もタブレットに置き換わるよな、 って思います。

テラス席は店内と隔離された様な寂しさがありますが、 呼び出しボタンがあるので、店員は呼べる、と思いきや、 ボタンを押しても一向に来ません。 混雑している時間だったので余り押し過ぎるのも 悪いと思い、一回押して10分待ち、二回目押して10分待っても 店員は来ません。三回目押しても来ないので流石に店内に 声に掛けて呼びましたが、呼び出しボタンが電池切れだった様です。 もうちょっと設備を確認しておくれよ。

味は一級品なんですよ。 サービス等をもうちょっと改善したら良いと思うんです。 （店内の狭さとかどうにも出来ない点は良いとして）

高くても良いお店って、店を出た後に、 「あぁ美味しい食事とお酒を楽しめて本当に良かった。払った金額以上に価値のある時間を過ごせたな」って思うんです。
