DAN-CHICKEN-DAN — Restaurant in Ebina

The service has definitely gone downhill over the years. Knowing they’d stop taking lunch orders at 1430 I visited the place at around 1410. Despite quite a few empty tables in sight they insisted on me to wait for a few minutes until they cleared one of the tables which had been occupied till a while ago. The table next to me was in the same state but it wasn’t tidied and cleaned during my 45-minute stay. Staff shortage perhaps or a simple ignorance? I was glad to see there were still all-you-can-eat salad bar and drink buffets but the soup pot was already empty. Supposed-to-be hot coffee and tea were not even lukewarm. Broken machine maybe?

For the main dish I went for the pasta of the month - spear squid and herbs, the dish I look forward to every year. The dish itself didn’t disappoint, but failing to provide a spoon to scoop the delicious salmon roe is beyond me. (They only offered a folk and chopsticks for cutlery)

Given the current economic downturn I could stomach the rise in price from pre-pandemic. But would I return for more? Probably not, unless I crave for the seasonal pasta this...

Wonderful place to have party. The restaurant has awesome atmosphere with very active staffs. Birthday celebrations are quite interesting here since the whole crowd will say “omedeto”(Wishing in Japanese). They have varieties of alcohol in many fruits flavour.
