Outstanding meal on a cold rainy day. The potatoes in the croquettes were sublime. The miso soup was some of the best I’ve ever had. And people and kitchen prep are full of love. Not to miss if you are hungry at Taisekiji.

Ask for the menu book, got photos of the food, easier! Ordered pork tonkotsu set + miso soup set Expect longer waiting time when nearer lunch time. But it's worth the wait 👍

大石寺新町駐車場を利用。駐車場の前の　なかみせ食堂の裏側にあります。昭和時代の建物外観で入り口には　コロッケの　のぼり旗が出ており直ぐにわかります。室内はテーブル席で　そば、うどんのお店ですが、色々とメニューはありテーブルに置かれた用紙にメニューを書いて店員さんに渡します。メニューは壁に貼ってあります。コロッケとしらす定食、とろろ定食を注文。コロッケはサクサクで美味しくお店ののぼり旗は本当ですね。しらすは釜揚げで少し塩味がして醤油と大根おろしを混ぜ合わせると久しぶりの味です。とろろ定食の　とろろは自然薯を使用しており皮をむかず、そのまますりおろしており、黒っぽく、粘りがありすごく美味しかったです。会計時には注文した紙を持って行ってからの精算です。やはり昭和時代のレジスターが今も現役で稼働していました。
