Went with my friends as a group of 4 during winter in December.
This place felt so foreign being miles from home yet the owner and the regular customers there made us feel at home! The owner always tries his best to communicate with us in English as we could only understand very little Japanese and yet despite this language barrier, he was still very engaging and friendly when conversing with us. He even apologised when he felt that he couldn't hold a proper conversation because of his limited English skills!
The food here was great and tasted very authentic! Portion sizes were as expected by Japanese standards but was by no means little. The ambience and vibes were very chill like any Friday night diner.
Strongly recommend this place to my fellow foreign visitors even if you do not know...

The owner is clearly very hardworking and takes great pride in his craft. He even mentioned modifying one of the sauces to suit local tastes, since many in the area prefer less spice.
The food was absolutely deliciousโflavorful, authentic, and carefully prepared. This meal was a highlight of our trip, and the warmth and hospitality made it even more special. Highly...

The buddae jiggae (ใใใใฒ) we had was extremely good, especially on a cold day. The side dishes were all equally good too! The owner was also kind enough to drive us towards the park that we were intending to visit next. Please do visit his restaurant for really good Korean food! 5/5 highly...
