Visited in Early April, it was so beautiful! The best way to enjoy the park is by getting there early to rent bicycles. Cycling though the park was lovely, the paths are lined with cherry blossom trees.
Getting to the seaside park: We enjoyed the journey to there by train! Took a little under an hour from Nishitetsu Inn, it was a very straightforward journey.
It was cold and windy, you would need a puffer jacket or windbreaker, especially if you choose to cycle.
There is a canteen there however the grounds have really lovely picnic areas, the best spot would be the flower hill.

今日は少し、晴れたせいか、また、日曜日ということもあって、ファミリー層が大変/大勢こられています。ちょっとした、遊具場や水場等もあり、こどもたちにとっては天国であり、本当に大にぎわいです。
ところで、いま「花の丘」のエリアを ( 一連の賑わいの花はもうすでに終わっているのは知っています ) を一周 / 回って、今日はこれからちょっと、ここからは距離がありますが全く反対側にある「アジサイの小経」のコーナーの方まで、いきました。
こちらの方は現状はどうなのかなあとおもいましたが全体的な「アジサイの量」はちょっとすくないかなあとおもいました。
「アジサイの小経」( 当然、花が咲いていないのは分かっています ) と言うよりは「桜の小径」か・・・ないしは「松の小径」とか言うように名称を変えた方がいいのではないでしょうか？変に期待してしまいます。
また、最後のコメントになりますが・・・入り口のメインゲートのパルテノンの下の「噴水広場の芝生」のところで、自動・芝生刈り機械？がなんと！正確に自動で、うごいていました。びっくりしました。その時の動画をアップロードしておきます。
