Zunburg — Restaurant in Fukusaki

Long overdue review for June 2025. The steaks were reasonably priced, tender, and cooked well to order.

The Hamburg in onion-tomato soup was not really good, in my opinion. The bullion was way over seasoned and super salty, and they just drowned like 100 pieces of garlic flakes in it to make up for the lack of flavour. The cooked rice was mushy and smoshed together and the salad was a really tiny portion.

Next time, I will stick to the main product which is the steak.

The entire place is very sticky and greasy. The tables are so greasy that you may not be able to lift your cup without hearing it stick on the surface. So are the floors, every step is like treading in grease.

I know this place is for steak, BUT try their burger. Big, bacon, cheese.... for $7. A bit pricy... but what choice do "we" have... either MacDonald, Lotteria.

Just make sure to ask them not to put demi-glace sauce.
