Chinmien (Delicacy Garden): Hasama Station — Restaurant in Funabashi

My first time visiting a Chinese restaurant in Japan, and it was great! Since I'm still chasing spicy foods for the time being, I tried the tantanmen set this time. While it didn't really have a burn to it, the flavor was wonderful! Nicely seasoned and portioned. The set came with the entree, pickled veggies, a kind of yogurt, and six pieces of gyoza for around 900 yen after tax.

Definitely recommend it, and it's a nice restaurant to have around...

This is a good restaurant! There are few non-Japanese restaurants in the Hasama area, so having access to a Chinese place is great. The staff is extremely attentive, the prices are reasonable, and the food is really good. The drinks are also well made, and also reasonably priced. The restaurant is clean, but smoking is allowed, making the smell unpleasant at times. Thus the reason for four stars...

平日夜に1人で訪れました。飯山満駅周辺にはほとんど、飲食店がなく、お酒も出してくれるこのお店は貴重です。 先客は1/3ほど埋まっています。広めでゆったりとしたお店です。後から入ってくるお客さんもいます。

色々食べてみたいなと思い、焼き餃子、油淋鶏、黒チャーハンを頼みました。 注文してから5分くらいで食事が届きました。

まず、黒チャーハン、大味で可もなく不可もなくってところ。1口目は美味しさを感じましたが、お米に油がベトってしており2口目以降は箸が進みません。 気を取り直して、餃子です。 餃子は焼き具合が最高です。パリッとしていて、歯応え美味しいのですが、具の味が可もなく不可もなくです。冷凍餃子の方が美味しいかもと思ってしまいました。でも、やき具合は最高。 続いて、油淋鶏です。盛り付けが雑です。鶏肉の表面にカリッと、中しっとりですが、油淋鶏のタレが微妙です。ただの酢醤油かなと思うレベルで、ネギも入っておらず、油淋鶏のタレが好きな私としては、正直残念です。

料理のこだわりや味のポイントがぼやけていて、総じて、ファミレスレベル(人によってはファミレス以下かも)と感じました。 コメント見ると高評価もあるので、日によるのでしょうか？

また、ディナーは単品のみでセットがないので、高く感じます。

ただ、飯山満という土地でお酒も飲めて、色々な中華料理が頼めるのはかなり貴重なので、そういう意味で...
