We decided to come for dinner last minute and it was 45 minutes from closing! We had a total of 9 people and ordered 7 dishes. We were quite worried it would take long as the owner did everything (taking orders, meal prep and cleaning). The food came out earlier than expected and all the dishes were delicious! (Curry and baked casseroles and pizza especially!)

Our family (of ages 20s to 80s) enjoyed the meal here and HIGHLY recommend it!

Warm host and comfortable homey environment! Would definitely return, especially the curry! Especially during winter days after skiing!

Updated Dec 2019: A cosy little cafe with great food and very friendly service. English menu available. It's no longer a one man show since being purchased by the Fresh Powder Apartment people although the chef has remained the same. Food is still good if not even better. The curry pork katsu has a bigger serving of salad that I like. Not sure how the other dishes have changed since we ordered different dishes than in Dec 2017. Found this place for local Japanese curry restaurant by chance on google map. This is a fewer than 20 seaters restaurant, run by a couple I think. Has very homey and retro vibe to it. Feels like they used their first storey of their house as the restaurant.

Pork katsu cutlet was freshly fried and crunchy. Rice was amazingly tasty as well. Curry was slightly spicy and you cannot change the spice level.

If you drive, there are parallel parking space on both sides...
