Satomi Sushi — Restaurant in Futtsu

One of my happiest memories from my time in Japan. I was a solo traveler and had a JR pass so I took one day trips from Tokyo and decided to go to Futtsu on December 29th last year. The town was very empty but so beautiful, definitely not a touristy place but everyone was so welcoming. I had saved this restaurant on my list and I found it very easily by foot from the station. The restaurant was full of locals and none of them spoke English but that didn’t stop them from welcoming me. I sat on the bar next to some older men and a gentleman tried to engage in conversation with me through hand signs and google translate. We walked in and had Omakase at 2pm. Place was relatively filled but seats are available for my family. The master and the owner are 76 years old. Googleマップの評価、クチコミを見てお伺いしました。 平日の11時過ぎ、まだ他にお客さん来られておらず一番乗りでした。 黄金アジフライ(900円)と房総すし(900円)を注文しました。 注文するまで立て続けに3組来客があり、中には予約されてた方も居られました。 注文してしばらくしてまずアジフライが来ました。他のクチコミにあるように、鯵を開いたタイプではなく、1.5口大の大きさにカットされてます。 食べてまず感じたのは「美味しい‼️」火は通っているのに、ほんのりと生の感じを残しているような、これまで食べた事がないフライでした。 残念ながら白飯はなかったのですが、ガツガツと白飯と食べたい感じでした。 房総すしは少し時間がかかり、アジフライを完食した後に来ました(笑) 真鯛やヒラメ、アジ、こち、スズキ、イサキなど白身魚ばかりで、どれも美味しかったです。 握りは俵状で少しコロっとした感じで、この辺りではこのような形が多い気がします。 房総すしを完食した後に、お通し(ワカメの酢の物とおから和え)とお吸い物が来ました。笑笑 アジフライ→房総すし→お通し&お吸い物とそれぞれ個別に来ましたので、少しは待って重ねて食べれば良かったかな？ ご主人はとても元気が良く、対応がとても気持ち良いです。 お寿司とアジフライの美味しさ、プラスご主人の接客で★5つです。 とても良いお店に出会いました。改めてGoogleマップの評価と...
