Its a typical country side cafe run by local ladies community! They offer lunch and take out of typical Japanese food. While we were waiting for stove train, basically we halted here to get warm but this cafe did not disappoint! Red apple cake and hot coffee set was delicious. They have special souvenirs of local produce like red apple juice, red apple jam, stove train coal cookies etc. It closes early at 4pm.

旅行の最終日で午前中は金木町で太宰治の実家と三味線の観光をして、乗り換え30分の合間に立ち寄り、おにぎり弁当を購入しました。その場で作ってくれました。二個とおかずが入って650円だったかな 帰りの電車で頂き温かったです。 若生おにぎりは太宰治も好きだったとのしおりがありタイミングくよく頂け良かった。酢飯の玉子巻きおにぎりも美味しく、おかずのひじきやポテトサラダも優しい味わいでホッとしました。 場所は五所川原駅を出て右手で、紹介してくれた津軽鉄道のガイドさんにも感謝します。
