Café de Kura — Restaurant in Hanamaki

An old warehouse shed turned into a cafe. The first floor is a cafe and the second floor is a gallery space. There's a ramp leading up to the entrance but I feel that is less for wheelchairs and more for someone who can walk but struggles with stairs.

花巻温泉のゲートくぐった先。バラ園の駐車場の手前。 甘味カフェと言ってよいと思う。

メニューはケーキ、あんこ系甘味、トーストなど。 軽食、というには食事寄りなメニューはありません。 各テイクアウト対応。

蔵を改装して使っているので暗い。静かなイメージ。

フレンチトースト、染み染みではなく、熱々でもなく、カリカリした部分もない。玉子が少ないさらっとした卵液使ってるのか、それを両面焼かないのでナイフとフォークが入りやすい。柔らかい。

バニラアイスとあんこで甘々にして頂くので全部甘いけど、酸味と苦味が強めのブレンドコーヒーでちょうどいい。

コーヒーはもう少し大きめのカップでほしいなぁ。
