Anchin — Restaurant in Hidakagawa

After our 4-hour flight to Osaka, our tour group's first meal was in Anchin. We were all famished when we arrived at the restaurant and eagerly tucked into the wonderful meal that was already all laid out on the table.

There was a wide assortment of food - sashimi, sushi, udon, tempura, tofu, rice and a miso-based bean sprout dish gently cooking over a small flame. A big, sweet strawberry was included as a mini-dessert.

The only downside was the smoking from another group dining on the other side of the restaurant.

There is also a small shop downstairs for diners to stock up on local produce...

2024年2月旅行社の日帰りバスツアーでクエづくしコースを食べにこちらへ行きました。今回のツアーはクエ料理がメインだったのでお料理めちゃくちゃ立派でよかったです。

クエ刺身、クエ握り寿司2貫、クエの入った天ぷら盛り、クエ鍋などなどクエ佃煮のようなお料理もありました。まずはお席でクエ料理の説明がありました。まあ説明聞きながらもうみんな食べてましたがそれはokでアルコールもビールやハイボールにお酒など一通りのものもありました。

白ごはんはクエ鍋食べた後に雑炊をしました。薬味と卵や追加で鍋用の着火剤も用意されていて仲居さんがテキパキとやってくれます。

ご飯全部雑炊にしていただきました。クエが全く臭みなくとても美味しかったです。完食してお腹いっぱいなりましたよ。ご馳走さまでした。クエって美味しいもんなんだって納得。美味しんぼの漫画であら鍋ってあったのがクエ鍋だったというくだりを思い出しました。

PS：バスツアーにこちらの畑で大根掘りというか大根抜きがついていてすごい立派な大根を1本もらって帰りました。帰りすげぇ重くてひーひー嬉しい悲鳴をあげな...
