No point if you're European (or American) We are used to good Italian food so this feels underwhelming. First the salad: It was fine, the vinaigrette had the right amount of sourness, it was good, my sole complain is that the plate was too small for the amount of food and thus was hard to eat cleanly. Then came the tomato pasta : first, the pasta itself : cooking was on the firmer side, but thats fine, some people like it this way. But they were wayyy too salty, like he cooked them in sea water, the salty taste was really overwhelming and made finishing the plate hard. next the sauce : it was simply a tomato sauce (probably homemade tho) with some basil thrown on top of the plate (i don't think the basil was cooked inside the sauce because the sauce had no basil taste at all), there were some chopped onions, a tiny bit of pepper and an ungodly amount of oil (see pictures). i think by the colour it was olive oil, but there wasn't much of an olive taste at all, but finding good quality olive oil is tough in Japan. That was it, no spices, no herbs just lots of oil, tomato, some onions and some little basil leaves, really bland sauce especially considering the salty taste of the spaghetti was overpowering everything else The dessert was surprisingly good, the tiramisu had a definite coffee taste and it wasn't overly sweet The tea was also good but i dont know much about desserts or tea so I'll leave it at that. Also it was kinda expensive : 1700ยฅ. you can eat better for a 1000ยฅ pretty easily in Japan. Its important to note however, that the owner was alone. he was waiting, cooking, taking payments... This afternoon it wasn't that busy (5 clients), but if hes alone when it gets busy thats really impressive, and he deserves the 5 star in service Also no English menu and the Japanese is written by hand so google lens wont help you translate. I just asked him (in Japanese) what was what and took what he recommended

That was it, no spices, no herbs just lots of oil, tomato, some onions and some little basil leaves, really bland sauce especially considering the salty taste of the spaghetti was overpowering everything else

The dessert was surprisingly good, the tiramisu had a definite coffee taste and it wasn't overly sweet

The tea was also good but i dont know much about desserts or tea so I'll leave it at that.

Also it was kinda expensive : 1700ยฅ. you can eat better for a 1000ยฅ pretty easily in Japan.

Its important to note however, that the owner was alone. he was waiting, cooking, taking payments... This afternoon it wasn't that busy (5 clients), but if hes alone when it gets busy thats really impressive, and he deserves the 5 star in service

Also no English menu and the Japanese is written by hand so google lens wont help you translate. I just asked him (in Japanese) what was what and took what...
