Capricciosa — Restaurant in Hirakata

Went at 7:30 pm on a Monday. There was only one other table with customers. The young hostess also served as our waitress --she was cheerful, pleasant, and when my wife asked a few questions she gave clear, concise answers. All in all she was perfect at her job, maybe we got lucky. In back were two, maybe three guys taking care of the kitchen.

We always go for the characteristic tomato garlic pasta, and sometimes the arancini (rice ball croquette). This time we skipped the croquette and had a pizza. I wish they still served freshly grated-at-the-table cheese as in the past. These days it's just a cup of powered parmesan. I also think Capricciosa should bring bread with pasta, but not doing so is a Japanese thing I think.

The salad bar was perfectly serviceable, but nothing fantastic. The consommé soup at the soup bar was slightly over watery.

女性店員が来店時から無愛想。

22時閉店で21時前に行ったせいか、来店の際にレジ金を数えていたので、『まだ大丈夫ですか？』と聞くと、お金を数えながら『ハイ、窓際の好きなテーブルへどうぞ』と言われたので着席。

美味しいパスタも作れるようになりたいです😊 2024.3.23追加) 今度こそ「トマトとニンニク」いただきました😅💦思い出を超えてメチャ旨です😋しかも恐らくメニューのなかで一番シンプルな材料やのに…一番旨いと感じました😍特にニンニク…どこ産なんか🤔?どう調理してるんか🤔?香りが際立ってます。こんなパスタを作れるようになりたい…もっと勉強したいと思いました。ごちそうさまでした🙏

2024.2.3追加) 「ツナのトマトソース」いただきました😊前回食べられなかった「トマトとニンニク」を…って思ってましたが…TV番組で「ツナのトマトソースが一番美味しい」ってやってたので食べてみたくなってしまいました😅💦確かに旨しです😋トマトとツナ…相性バッチリです♥️でも…何かが足りない気が…今度は絶対「トマトとニンニク」にします！ごちそうさまでした🙏
