I spent an entire year in Japan studying at the nearby Kansai Gaidai University, and I will say that I must've met about half or more of my friends in Japan at Cheers Jr. it truly is the local meeting place for exchange students, and serves as a great place to meet both foreigners and Japanese people. This place gave me so many memories, and is without a doubt one of the best bars I've ever patronized. The main bartender, Atsushi, makes a concerted effort to get to know each and every one of his customers, and maintains a strong interest in all of them. His bar also employs many local and exchange students, many of whom are my close personal friends. The bar's drinks are both incredibly affordable and outstandingly delicious, and its lively atmosphere will end up making it like a second home for its patrons.
I cannot stress enough how great this bar is, and I highly recommend anybody, from exchange students to expats in Osaka prefecture to local Japanese to check this bar out.
