I visited this restaurant for lunch with my wife on my way home. I have wanted to visit this restaurant for a long time, but I have not had opportunity. This restaurant is affiliated restaurant whose head restaurant is located at Fukushima in Osaka. General restaurants use pig bone soup, but the specialty of this restaurant is beef bone soup. We ordered “Gyujan” (it is characteristic ramen which used beef bone soup) and “Akakara Gyujan” (it is spicy Gyujan ramen), and share them.
Gyujan: The beef bone soup taste is rich but not heavy, and it matches straight and thin noodle. And the aftertaste of beef bone soup is lighter than pig bone soup. Akakara Gyujan: We can choose the spiciness from five levels. This time I tried middle spiciness, but it is enough spicy for me. The spiciness matches rich soup, I continued eating one after another. Noodle: We can choose hardness of noodle from 4 levels. You should choose it according to your favorite and mood. In addition to that they change the kind of noodle for the soup. Changing taste: You can use garlic chips and spicy leaf mustard, chili oil for changing taste. It is fun to adjust the taste to my favorite.
We satisfied with the taste of dishes, I would like to try chicken soup noodle next time. And I hope to order side menu, like fried rice and...
Read moreMakotoya offers a kind of ramen I haven't seen anywhere else so far, that being beef bone. It is incredibly rich and I strongly recommend trying it at least once. I believe they offer a menu in English but I'm not certain. While waiting for your order, you can enjoy some mustard greens for free which I highly recommend. Personally I always get the red pepper ramen and add a good pile of fried garlic on top, which is one of the numbers of toppings/accoutrements...
