This place was really cool. It felt like I was back in the 1960s in the United States. Even though I wasn't alive at the time, the atmosphere they created was unique. There were decorations, toys, and posters everywhere! I also enjoyed the music since I like oldies. The main food is curry and rice, but they also have milkshakes, banana splits, floats, and so on. 北米のダイナーっぽい外観と駐車場に置かれた古いキャデラックから、よくあるオールディーズが好きな人向けのお店を想像していくとちょっと違います。

BGMこそオールディーズですが、フードメニューにドライブイン定番のハンバーガーやホットドッグは無く日本風のカレーのお店です。

インテリアもゴールデンエイジのジュークボックスやレトロなコカ・コーラの自動販売機が置かれているのと同時に、ピクサー／ディズニーのアニメのキャラクターグッズが所狭しと並んでいたりして、かなり独自路線を行くお店になっています。

お店の看板が色あせてボロボロだったりキャデラックのピンクの塗装が剥げて所々錆びていたりするのは、このお店が50～60年代を再現しているのではなく、70年前からずっとここにあるお店なのでは？とさえ思わせると言ったら言い過ぎでしょうか？

お店の壁に貼られたロードサインもルート66ではなくインターステート・ハイウェイ90号線だしナタリーコールのピンクキャデラックは1988年のヒット曲ですから。

ルート66がインターステート・ハイウェイの発達で廃線になったあと寂れてしまった町「ラジエーター・スプリングス」が舞台のディズニー映画「カーズ」の世界と思って見るとしっくりきます。
