Hitachinaka Onsen Kirari Bettei — Restaurant in Hitachinaka

We don't own a car, so we travelled by train and bus, and it was not hard to find the location. We went there before the opening time so we can make the most of it and we did. If you're on a first-timer like us, take the small green card at the entrance and give it to the receptionist. They will assist and guide you with different packages they have. The admission starts with ¥990, and opens from 8:00-23:00.

The restaurant near the entrance is huge with palatable and big servings of food. I ate kare udon set and was surprised with the serving. They have different types of onsen bath to choose from. And 1 Sauna room with TV inside.

After taking a bath, they have massage chairs if you don't want to spend for a real massage which can cost you more and lots of resting areas.

They only have 1 bedrock room compared with other public bath we visited, so the downside of this is that you'll not be able to choose the room temperature that suits you better.

No doubt on why this place is rated as #1 in Ibaraki prefecture. Atmosphere is amazing, Japanese style, relaxing and superb place to relax stress. Everything is post-paid style, the tag the shoe locker is using as the code. General onsen fee is around ¥990, including 2 towels which is ver reasonable. Onsen is superb with so many varieties of pools, specially the jet bath. Outside pools are good too. Sauna is also there. General massage chairs and rest areas are very relaxing places with beautifully built environment. Restaurant is good too, so many varieties of Japanese food with drinks. Charges are added to key-tag and must be paid when leaving. Staff is very friendly, kind and helpful. Cleanliness is excellent. Atmosphere is excellent. Big enough car park but so many people in rush...

長いのでまとめました。簡潔に言うと 良い点 接客がすごく良くて過去一。高濃度炭酸泉があるので気持ちいい。 悪い点 飲み水が変な土の味がしてまずい。天然温泉なの「塩素入り。お風呂の種類が5つしかない。サウナの前にメガネ置きなし。岩盤浴の値段が高い割に実質1種類しかない。

ニフティ1位とあったから期待して行ったが思ったより狭いし、温泉通にとってというか普通に残念な箇所が多くてびっくりした。 良いところは施設が新品で綺麗で接客態度も過去5つの指に入るくらい良かったが、それ以上に施設に欠陥があるように思った。 まず岩盤浴があるが確か1350円。もはやそこまで来たら健康ランドと変わらない値段になってしまっている。まあここは許容範囲ではある。 岩盤浴だが、種類も匂い付きとか温度変化とかあれば良いのだが岩の種類が違うだけで実質広い1部屋しかない。そして岩盤浴の部屋には高濃度酸素が噴射されていて面白い試みではあったが体感として意味が感じられなかった上、床が石なので寝るにしても3分が限界で痛かった...。クーリング部屋もあったが正直水風呂で良いと思ってしまった..。購入したペットボトルを冷やせる面白い鍵付き冷蔵庫はあったが、だったらケチな願いだがサービスとして冷水機を置いて欲しかった。結局喉が渇き150円で買う羽目になって1500円の入館料になってしまった。(ここはまあ仕方ない) そして次に室内風呂は水風呂と炭酸泉も ジェット風呂と電気風呂&熱湯が4つに分けられていた。水風呂は確か16度だった。正直スパ銭ならほとんどどこでもある最低限の風呂でちゃんと炭酸泉があるのが嬉しいくらいな感じで全く特色がなく残念。 匂い付き風呂とか歩けるほど深い長い風呂とか風呂周りの飾りが良いとかゲルマニウムとかなんでも良いから評価点があるのかと思ったか本当にどこにでもあるスーパー銭湯って感じののっぺりした風呂場だった。 露天には温泉が外にあるがかなり小さく、思ったより風呂としての開放感がない。景色も木が邪魔であまり見晴らせなかった。そして許し難いのは温泉が全て塩素入りであった事だ。本当に勿体無い。 成分はナトリウム系で低張性で高温泉だった。 かなり普通にある温泉成分ではあるのだが本当に塩素のせいで温泉の匂いが台無しだった..。また露天との行き来の部屋の足元はどこの施設でも汚いので、水が流れてて不潔なのを防止してくれるとかなく、評価されてるからてっきりそういうとこまでサービスのいき届いてるのかと思っていた。 そしてサウナだが、洗ってアルコール掛けて使い直す尻マットは良いと思うが、なんとメガネ置き場が無いのだ。びっくりした。山奥のスパ銭にもなかった事はあったが、そこは本当に人が来ないから許容範囲だったが、ここはかなり人が来るような土地でマジかと思ってしまった。結局荷物置きに置く事になるが他の人の荷物とかで落とされたりする可能性あるし、メガネ置き場なんて作り忘れるものじゃ無いから本当に意味不明だった。 サウナ本体は人が出入りしてるのに96度だったからかなり良いサウナだと思った。３０分に1度ロウリュするのもかなり気持ちよかった。 そして問題点はまだあり、浄水器が非常に塩素臭い上に若干下水臭いのだ。 ここまで風呂屋でまずい浄水器は2年ぶり。もしジュースを買わせたいのならこれはひどいとおもった。 総合点として細かいサービスが普通レベルか良く無いレベルで、流石に日本一位は意味がわからなかった。 とはいえ接客は良かったし、施設自体は綺麗でサウナ目的だけなら⭐︎4は出せるが、...
