Absolutely beautiful presentation and plates, delicious course meals, nice atmosphere, and great service!

Their seasonal course menu outline was presented in one of the most creative ways I’ve ever seen. It came out in flash cards with Japanese riddles and puns all over! The lady explained to us how to solve each riddle and how it reflected the theme as she presented each dish. It was really cool and entertaining! They’re not easy riddles to solve on your own, but turned out to be great conversation pieces at our table.

They were also able to accommodate my gluten-free request. All tempuras were switched to potato starch batter alternative, and they were light and crisp.

We reserved their course meal at 18:00, and couldn’t make it on time due to an irregular work incident. When I called in to let them know we may not make it, they said they’ll try to hold out till 19:45 for us. Mind you, the restaurant closes at 20:30. We got there just at 19:45, and the lady very kindly accommodated us through our meal till the very end passed their closing hours. They never tried to rush us and we had the most wonderful experience!
