Starbucks Coffee - Chiharadai Mall — Restaurant in Ichihara

It's a pretty nice location but after spending a lot of time in Japan the coffee prices are high. Other cafes have similarly priced (expensive) drinks but what really got me was the price of ground coffee, sometimes 3-4x what you can get at a grocery store (in the US it's only about 2x more than the store) so despite liking their ground coffee, I won't ever buy it in Japan. For food I had an Earl Grey donut. I love Earl Grey tea and I love many of the Japanese Earl Grey desserts (including ones I've had in the US). This donut was the second worst Earl Grey item I've had (the worst was a cocktail in California). It was just kind of bland, and when I discovered the cream inside I hoped it would get better, but it remained unimpressive and overpriced (that's pretty normal for Starbucks baked goods). I also tried the Satsuma Imo sweet potato Frappuccino which was pretty good. I thought it would be artificially flavored but it had real imo chunks inside and on top, and it tasted like imo. I was just disappointed it was too small (typical for Japan). I dinged the atmosphere because it was starting to get cold and the sunset would have been pretty and warm, but we couldn't raise the blinds to enjoy the sun. Once the sun set they pressed a button to open all the blinds but since this is a suburban location there isn't much of a view so what's the point? I would have preferred the ability to open individual...

I'm not a fan of Starbucks' drinks but that cafe is good. They have great decorations inside, also have outdoor tables to seat on a beautiful sunny/cloudy day.

Nice local which is closed to York Mart, Seria, Unimo shopping mall.

3月19日13時頃、ちはら台店のドライブスルーで　コーヒーのおかわりをタンブラーでしようとしたら、断られた。 仕方ないので遠回りだが、おゆみ野店に行きドライブスルーのタンブラーでのコーヒーおかわりは出来た。笑 同じ様に言ったのに、ちはら台店の対応は何だったのか？笑

一時期コロナでタンブラーの持ち込みは禁止されていたが、今は事前の水洗いと渡す時にアルコールティシュで渡すようにしている。 ちはら台店の店長及び店員はタンブラーは嫌いで、紙コップ及びプラスチック蓋やストローの使用が好きなんでしょうな？ ゴミ問題気にせず！って事か。
