コナノワ — Restaurant in Imabari

Out of the way but a MUST visit. I am from the land of bagels and these still blew me away. Creative flavors (pumpkin, fig, local cheese and sesame, bamboo charcoal, and more) and all were so tasty. Chewy and flavorful. Plus the sitting room upstairs looks like something out of coastal West Elm magazine. The owner and staff were very friendly. The prices (300-500 yen / bagel) were high for Japan but still low by western standards....

Amazing little place away from all the hustle and bustle of the major centres. Perfect to take some time out, relax, and enjoy some wholesome food made with real love! The owner was so friendly and eager to help us enjoy our food. The view from the upstairs room added to the wonderful setting...
