Kita Sushi — Restaurant in Imabari

Quite a disappointment. The flavors just weren't there. I really wanted to have a great meal so I got the Kita Gozen. The sushi were quite difficult to chew on and completely flavorless. The salads and pickles were good, nothing special. The chawanmushi didn't hold well together and had little flavors. The best was the scallop gratin, it was tasty but again quite difficult to chew on. I thought maybe it was me, but then they brought the "dessert" which was a single ball of industrial vanilla ice cream. For a 4600¥ meal. I ate here in 2019 and still think about this place. The views are stunning, the service couldn't have been more welcoming and the food was very very good. We went here because it was the only place open and it ended up being one of the best dining experiences I've had.
