Happiness Village Yakiniku Shop — Restaurant in Imari

We had an unforgettable lunch at Happiness Village Yakiniku Shop in Imari, Saga—and it was one of the best meals of our trip. Parking was super convenient with spaces right outside the restaurant, which made things easy from the start.

We came specifically for the Imari beef, and it truly lived up to the hype. The quality of the beef was superb—tender, juicy, and rich with perfectly marbled fat that melted beautifully on the grill. Every bite was packed with flavor, and it honestly felt like a luxury meal at a surprisingly reasonable price.

A nice casual yakiniku shop with private rooms available for large-ish groups. This place is a favorite with my in-laws and has a nice selection of meats. My relatives swear that the local beef (Imari-gyu) is better than the more recognized Kobe beef brand. I'm not a beef aficionado but it tastes...

Love our dining experience. Love Imari beef. We ate it with lettuce and rice; the beef just melt in our mouth. So delicious. Very friendly and helpful staff....
