Stumbled upon this real gem of a cafe after a pearl extracting experience nearby. Stone steps lead you to a bright and airy shop where the owner carefully makes you delicious drip coffee. You have the option of sitting in a tatami room next door to savor it while escaping the summer heat (in my case). Everything in the space feels like it was carefully picked to create its relaxing atmosphere. I sat there for a long time watching the wind rustle the garden treesโ leaves. It was the best part of my first day in Mie.
