焼き鳥 桜亭 — Restaurant in Isesaki

This is a traditional Izakaya place. We like the古い （nostalgic） ambience. Their service is excellent (素晴らしい). They customise the food to cater to our taste by checking if we like salty or sweet. The Agedashi Tofu was amazingly tasty. The Abura Ramen was the Chef specialty. The onion’s sweetness blended well with the seaweed flakes and ramen soup. The chicken yakitori were yummy, but I prefer the pork yakitori, it was juicy and tender, tasted good and easy to eat. I want to thank the Chef for presenting us a nice little gift - a beautiful wooden menu /letter stand. Hope more tourists will visit this...
